About Steve Lukemeyer

EXPERIENCE: I have been a licensed attorney in Indiana since 1999, and have an Indiana real estate broker's license. In addition to being an Associate Broker at F.C. Tucker/Kerstiens Realty, I own and operate Lukemeyer Law Office, P.C., where I focus a large part of my practice in the area of real estate law. I have extensive experience dealing with real estate transactions and title issues. Prior to opening my own practice, I spent nearly five years as staff counsel for one of the largest independent real estate title insurance agencies in Indiana. In addition to providing legal counsel on all title and closing matters internally, I routinely advised real estate agents and brokers, mortgage brokers, and lenders. I have closed countless real estate transactions of all types and sizes.

EDUCATION: I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and received my Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis. I am admitted to the Indiana State Bar, and am a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and Dubois County Bar Association.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS: I am a member of the Indiana Bar Association, the Dubois County Bar Association (President 2011), the Evansville Area Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS: Recipient of F.C. Tucker 2011 statewide awards for (1) Rookie of the Year - Units, (2) Rookie of the Year - Volume, and (3) member of 2011 Executive Club for exceeding $3.2M closed in the year. Also, I received the award for Top Producing Agent - Jasper Office, and was recognized as a member of the Million Dollar Club for 2011.

PERSONAL: I am married to Anita (Wibbels) Lukemeyer and we have four children. I'm a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and serve on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County, Inc. (Board President 2010-2011).
